Sacred Heart Youth are remarkable individuals who love Christ and His Church and hunger for a deepening relationship with both. They are a reflection of the love and support that is given to them by the Parish of Sacred Heart in Conroe, Texas. Our parish family continually models the character of Christ to our young Catholics through disciplines of prayer, mentoring, financial support and continued hope for their spiritual growth and maturity.
Youth Ministry for all teens considers the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social formation of youth to be equally important. The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our Catholic Faith. The goal of Sacred Heart Youth Mnistry is to provide opportunities of Community Life, Catechesis, Leadership, Prayer & Worship, and Stewardship that will envangelize and meet the pastoral needs of our youth, while at the same time engaging and helping them experience the love and hope of the Eucharist.
B16 (that's our Papa!...Pope Benedict XVI) has named this The Year of Saint Paul. Throughout the year, Catechechists and Leaders from throughout the parish will be teaching and guiding our youth into the wisdom of the Holy Spirit as given to us by St. Paul and the Church.
Sacred Heart is a parish for all people and Youth Ministry is open to all youth. May we all be blessed with a deep faith and hunger for the ways of our Lord and may we always and everywhere, "Pray without ceasing".
