What makes the Steubenville Youth Conference CATHOLIC?

The youth conference combines solid Catholic doctrine with a powerful experience of the Holy Spirit. The conference uses a variety of means to accomplish this. Most are very traditional like the Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Rosary, and Euchairstic Adoration. These are the main ways Jesus wishes to reveal Himself to the Church. Passionate speakers and hosts, talented musicians and entertainers set the stage for young people to open their hearts to the power of the Holy Spirit.
Scripture teaches that the Holy Spirit will teach all truth. Through expressive praise and worship, youth experience the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead and gave birth to the Church; the same Holy Spirit that was poured into their hearts (or will be!) at Baptism. Many youth experience great movement of the Holy Spirit through expressive praise and worship.
**As a component of Faith Formation - High School teens are asked to make at least one Steubenville Youth Conference before the fall of their senior year in High School.
Next summer's Conference will be Steubenville of the Rockies
